Wayne Lord is a practising barrister. He delivered the "A to Z of Construction Law in 2 days" in person for MBL seminars for up to six times a year since 2012, hanging up his laser pointer in early 2024.

​

Wayne has nearly 40 years' experience in the construction industry. He initially practised as a civil and structural engineer before being called to the Bar in 1999. He is also a non practising solicitor and is professionally qualified as a chartered surveyor (FRICS), chartered civil engineer (MICE), and a chartered structural engineer (MIStructE).

 

A specialist construction barrister, Wayne regularly advises a variety of clients across all sectors of the construction industry. He also delivers pragmatic training and seminars to legal practitioners and construction professionals.

​He is an RICS panel adjudicator and an RICS accredited mediator.
